Kadeem Robinson
Kadeem brings nearly a decade of experience in community building and public policy having worked in over three city agencies. Their work centers around bringing access to groups through government investment and public awareness. Kadeem has, through legislative strategy and community building, worked on legislation that bans solitary confinement, expand housing voucher programs, increase access to STI/HIV testing availability. Kadeem has organized countless stakeholder engagement processes, aimed to bringing new voices in public policy deliberations. Kadeem has developed processes now adopted by city agencies to incorporate lived experiences of groups often found at the margins.
When Kadeem is not busy, you can find them dancing somewhere, or volunteering as the Treasurer and board member of a small nonprofit based in Queens, NY who conducts work around the City, nation and Caribbean region, Caribbean Equality Project.
