Kent is a longtime knowledge expert in the field of public benefits. They are dedicated to utilizing creative connections between technology, policy, and real lived experiences to facilitate programmatic excellence and design transformative improvements to our existing public benefits systems.

Kent has a BA in Comparative Literature from Bryn Mawr College. Kent has over ten years of experience helping transform the public benefit landscape. Before starting at AidKit, they worked to build and maintain public benefit screening tool CRMs for over 50 benefits across six states, delivering millions of dollars in benefits. Kent was able to get a Decision Model Notation certification in the hopes of one day building a bespoke screening-building tool that subject matter experts could use, and is so excited to have found AidKit to fully leverage this experience.

Kent is a craftsperson of all things fiber art - you can find them crocheting, knitting, weaving, embroidering, and most importantly, buying more yarn! They enjoy karaoke and exploring Chicago with friends, watching horror movies, and hanging out with their cat, Goblin.
